Kulgera

On Friday we crossed over the border into Northern Territory. Later we went to Kulgera Pub just next to our campsite to have dinner. When we had ordered our food a blues band called Suedan started playing music. The music was different to the music I was used to because the man called Dan was playing a cigar box guitar. One of them was made out of an old biscuit tin, it kind of sounded like a banjo. Sue was playing drums on a box instrument called a cajon. The music was amazing! After the performance they came over to us and told us about the history of the cajon. It was used by slaves in Peru when their African drums were taken away from them. Next they told us that they came second in the big blues festivals in Adelaide and now they are running the festival. Soon we left and went to bed.

On Saturday we drove to Lambert centre, the very centre of Australia. On the way we drove on the Finke. When we got there I realised that the flies were horrible. Now we have been to the most southern, central, eastern and northern points of Australia. Now we just need to go to most western point of Australia.

Lambert Centre

We wrote our name in the visitor book and drove away.

On the way back we drove through lots of puddles. The car got very muddy! When we got to the Finke we put Dad’s DJI Mavic Air 2 drone on the front of the car then Dad made sure the drone was following the car. For some strange reason the drone would not move forward. It would move backwards, left and right but not forwards. In the end we got back the drone and decided not to do it. When we got back to the campsite we found out that Suedan was playing again. This time it was equally as awesome! Soon we went back to the camp trailer and went to bed.
