On Friday we drove up to Kings canyon. When we arrived Mum had to go in and get our site number it took about 6 minutes. Soon she came back out and hopped in the car. When we found our campsite we realised that there was a clothesline in the middle of it so Mum had to walk back and tell them. Eventually we found our next campsite and set up the camp trailer.
On Saturday we decided that we would go to Kings Canyon and walk the Kings Creek and Kathleen Springs walks. When we got half way through the Kings Creek walk we got to see Spinifex Pigeons, cool trees, cave rocks, rocky mountains and statues of birds but sadly the lizard statue had been stolen. It made me feel disappointed. On the Kathleen Springs walk we saw a wavy rock, rainbow serpent lake, one way cattle gates, amazing birds and wildflowers. When we had finished both walks we had some dinner and went to bed.

On Sunday we got out of bed at 5:45am to go do the rim walk and watch the sunrise. On the walk the terrain was very rocky and in places steep. It was very windy and cold it made my eyes water. There were not many people out on the track. It was very fun. We saw a tree that we all thought looked like a twisty tree because it had long yellow flowers on the end of the branches that looked like twisties, the garden of Eden, huge cliffs, a plant that was from when dinosaurs were alive, and amazing gorges. When we got back Me and Mia wanted to go in the pool but all of the sudden it got really cold because of the wind. We had a decilious lamb roast for dinner before heading to bed.

On Monday I made some amazing bread and got a chance to have a google meet with my class. I really enjoyed it because I really missed going to school.
Tomorrow we are going to Ormiston Gorge.
