On the way we crossed into Kakadu National Park. Kakadu is the biggest National Park in Australia. When we arrived at Maguk Campground we setup the camp trailer, Dad lit the fire and then I went to bed.

On Sunday we went on a walk to the Maguk plunge pool. On the walk there it felt extremely hot and slow. When you entered the water you could see lots of fish at the edge. I used my snorkel for the first time and we swam under the waterfall. Part way through the swim we lay on some rocks next to the waterfall. The walk back was much cooler and quicker.

On Wednesday we drove to Malabanjbanjdju campground. That night we did the Yellow Water Cruise at sunset and saw lots of crocodiles. We also saw a kingfisher with lots of colours. It was diving to the water for fish and going back into the tree nearby. The guide told us all about white bellied sea eagles. The Aboriginal people in the area believe that the eagle takes the spirit when someone dies. There were also lots of whistling kites around communicating with each otherin the trees nearby. When the sun starting to set the sky turned bright orange. After the cruise we had dinner at Cooinda Lodge.
On Thursday we drove to Merl campground because Mia and Mum were doing a weaving workshop but me and Dad were not allowed to do it.so we went to Cahills Crossing saw more crocodiles. After we went to Cahills crossing we went back to the weaving session to check if everything was going okay, but when we arrived we found Mia and Mum waiting for us and they said it did not happen because the lady that was running it was sick. Next we went to Ubirr (a walk that takes you to rock paintings). We walked up the top to the lookout that shows you views of Arnham Land.
In 24 hours we saw 105 crocodiles.
