At Esperance we did lots of fishing and visited lots of beaches. On the day we arrived in Esperance we did the great ocean drive. The great ocean drive is a road that takes you to lots of beaches around Esperance. At Blue Haven we went snorkelling and Dady speared a flathead for the first time. He was super excited. At Picnic Bay we had a picnic on the rocks of cheeses and chorizo.

We decided to do some fishing 11 mile beach. At this beach, we went fishing from the rocks and the rocks were like a shelf that dropped off into deep water. The water kept sweeping up the rocks and then washing back down. I caught 2 herring and 3 sea sweep. At the time we had no idea what they were so we threw them back and then found out they were delicious eating. Dad caught 2 salmon and in the end we ended up bringing my 2 herring home. Whilst me and Daddy were fishing Mia and Mum played on the beach.
The next day we went to Cape Le Grand National Park and walked up Frenchman’s Peak. It was so steep but we got to the top. There was a cave that when you looked out it was like the walls of the cave were a picture frame. The view was amazing and you could see all of Cape Le Grand. Next we went to Little Hellfire Bay. Little Hellfire Bay was amazing and the beach had squeaky sand and felt like kenetic sand. Before getting back in the car we went to Hellfire Bay but I didn’t think it was as good because the water didn’t look as pretty. We went to Lucky Bay. Dad and I went snorkelling and saw lots of jellyfish but not much else. After snorkelling we drive down the beach and went fishing. We caught five herring. On the way home we stopped at Lucky Bay Brewery for pizzas. They were delicious.
