Bunbury and Busselton (28/12/23 – 29/12/23)

We got up early in the morning to see the dolphins at the Bunbury Discovery Center. After waiting ages and ages we heard the bell ring to tell us the dolphin had come in. We went onto the beach and were allowed to go in the water with the dolphin. The water was very cold.

We then went to the Bunbury Farmers Market. It is a permanent market that is like a supermarket. At the market they sold lots of fresh fruit and veg, also donuts and cheeses. We bought lots and lots and lots of food. The food was delicious.

After Bunbury we went to Busselton Jetty. Whilst we were waiting for our train Mia and I played at the big park that had a huge boat like a pirate ship. The Busselton Jetty was so long that we rode the little train to the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty. In the Underwater Observatory we saw lots and lots of fish. You could see the old pylons from the jetty that were left after a fire on the jetty years ago. On the pylons there was lots of plants and coral growing. When we were downstairs we saw an octopus sitting in the top corner of one of the windows. I really enjoyed Busselton Jetty.

Isaac, how memorable to be with the dolphins. Eating more scrumptious food – lucky you! The underwater observatory looks incredible and so many amazing things to see. Love Aunty Kate x

How exciting being in the water with the dolphins. Pity the water was cold. The farmers market sounded very delicious and a great amount of food to purchase.
Grandma and Grandpa have been to the Busselton Jetty. Isn’t it amazing. Did you catch the train both ways or walk the length of the jetty on one way.
    Love Grandma xx
