Cheynes Beach (2/12/2023 – 5/12/2023)

At Cheynes Beach we went fishing. On the first day I caught a Flathead and on the second day Dad caught a much bigger one that we got to keep. The next day we had a picnic by the side of a river and me and Mia did some soft plastic fishing. That night we went fishing on the beach and Dad caught a huge ray that would not go back into the water so dad had to get down the shovel from the roof of the car to release it. When me and Mia were exploring the caravan park I found a heath monitor eating a baby pigeon while it’s parents just walked around it for a while.

Isaac, the Heath Monitor (never heard of these before!) looks enormous and not something I would like to come across🤨 you will have to explain what soft plastic fishing is when I see you as I have no idea what this term means. It looks a beautiful beach though and a great sunset. Love Aunty Kate x

You are a very good fisherman now Issac. Are soft plastivs a lure that you put on the fishing line. You and Mia look like you have lots of fun at the beach. Oh yuk that Heath Monitor looks big. I think lots of fly spray would be needed for Grandma.
