At Streaky Bay we decorated the campsite with Christmas decorations. On the first full day, in the morning we went fishing on the jetty. None of us caught anything but dad caught a baby tiny herring. After the jetty we had breakfast and I had waffles. They were delicious.The next day we went fishing in a little cove and caught nothing. In the little cove there was lots of scattered rocks around on the sand. We kept getting caught on the ones in the water.
The next day we went fishing on the brekwater and dad caught a snook and I caught two squid for the first time. The squid kept spraying ink everywhere like a fountain. When we had it in the bucket of water it recharged and then sprayed a fountain when daddy and Mia didn’t expect it. Dad got covered in ink. Then we had Dad’s speared flathead, snook and my squid for lunch.
The next day Mia caught her first squid. I caught a snook and a salmon. Mia caught a salmon and dad caught a snook.
On Christmas Day we opened our presents, played with my kite and vortex, then had a lamb roast for lunch. It felt weird not having christmas at home because usually we drive around a lot.
The next day we went fishing on the break water and Mia caught a salmon me Mum and Dad caught snook only on lures, I caught a salmon and a tiny little herring.
On Christmas day we opened our presents and then stayed at camp and had a roast lamb for lunch. It was delicious
