At the Darwin kite festival the sky was full of kites of all sizes, including a life size blue whale and dragon. Some of the kites were so big they had to be tied to the bull bar of cars. There was a little row of tables that you got to make your own kites. Next to the table that you got to make kites was an area that had stilts and things to do tricks with. There was kite surfers, sail boats, 18.288 meter crocodile kite. It was very busy and loud because they had the volume of the music turned up high. We sat in our camp chairs and watched the kites. The ground was covered chairs and bean bags.
