When we were at Broome we went kayaking. While we were looking for turtles we saw a rock that looked like a kookaburra and another that looked like Australia. Half way through we stopped for a snack on the rocks near the Australia rock. When we finished eating we went for a swim and it felt like we were in a washing machine. When we were out on the water again we saw lots of turtles pop up and we thought we saw a whale on the horizon. The water looked like a greeny blue colour.
The next day we went out looking for Dinosaur footprints and spent ages looking but only found one at the end and then we saw the examples. They were really hard to find without doing a tour becuse they looked a bit random. While we were in Broome I got swooped three times by a bird at the caravan park, so Dad got out the colander for a helmet for me. After the dinosaur footprints we went to cable beach for a swim and then we sat on the beach for the sunset. Part way through the sun went behind a cloud and you couldn’t see it anymore.
I really enjoyed Broome. Next we are going to 80 mile beach.
