On Saturday we got into bed with mum and dad to open presents because it was dad’s birthday. We had sausages and eggs for breakfast. We packed up the camp trailer and started driving to Katherine again. On the way we stopped at a zebra stone gallery. Zebra stones are only found around Litchfield National Park. We got to sort through a big tub they had and use sand paper to try and polish the stone ps so we could try and find a zebra stone. I found 1 zebra stone in the big tub. Eventually we started driving again and then we stopped at a place called Lazy Lizard Tavern for lunch. Mum had a delicious pizza, me and Mia had nuggets and chips and Dad had a parma and salad. Soon we were driving to Katherine but 100 kilometres away the car started making a wierd clicking noise. When we arrived at Katherine farm stay we set up the camp trailer and mine and Mia’s tent and went to the shops to buy dad’s cake. When we got back we had dad’s choc caramel cake had dinner and went to bed.

The rest of the time we sat around camp and sent the car to the mechanic. The mechanic said they can not fix it so we would have to drive up to Darwin again. So we hired a 4WD with electric brake controller to tow the camp trailer up to Darwin because we didn’t want to risk the car breaking down.
