When we left Wuggubun campground we started driving to Walardi campground. On the way we drove into Purnululu National Park. We also saw a huge willy willy. It was super tall and dusty. We drove through 9 river crossings and multiple dry creek bed crossings.
The next day we drove to the southern end of Purnululu National Park to do some walks. When we arrived we decided to do the Windows walk, Cathedral Gorge and the Bee Hives. On the Windows walk we saw some amazing rocks and some termite mounds growing in the rocks. When we got to the natural window we had a look through and started walking to the enterance of Cathedral Gorge. When we got to the end we sat in a natural cathedral with water in the middle. The water was a greenish brown. There was a cane toad sitting on a stick and were multiple dead cane toads floating around the water hole.

The next day we walked to lots of lookouts but it was too smoky to see as clearly. Once we finished doing the lookouts we went on a walk called mini palm gorge. On the walk we had to climb in between rocks. Most of the walk was in shade which was good because we were very hot walking in 42 degrees. At the end we got to see an area that in the wet season there would be a little water whole with a waterfall. After the walk we drove to enchidna chasm. When we finally arrived we walked in between two cliffs that glowed red at the right time of day when the sun was directly above the chasm. At the end of the day I was extremely tired.

I really enjoyed Purnululu because we got to explore lots and lots of the National Park. It was the hottest place we have been on our trip.
