At Karajini we went on lots of walks through gorges. On the first day we went to Dales gorge. When we arrived we swam in the water. It looked amazing but the water was freezing. The waterfall was running down the rock face and looked amazing from the top of the pool. There was also another pool called the fern pool behind the waterfall there was a little lush cave.
The next day we went to Joffrey gorge. On the way we had to climb down lots of ladders to reach the bottom of the gorge then we had to climb across the rock face. When we finally got to the water hole the water was very green but looked amazing.
After Joffery gorge we went to kermit pools. On the way Mia slipped into the water twice. When we arrived we jumped into the water. It was absolutely freezing but on the other side of the pool it looked amazing. There was a waterfall with a little swimming hole. On the way back Mia slipped and fell into the water again. Me and Mum saw was a splash and then Dad threw her a noodle.
The next day we went to Kalamina gorge. At Kalamina gorge we walked to a waterhole and had a swim. Then we drove to Hamersley Gorge. On the walk to Hamersly gorge we stopped at a lookout that showed us all of the cool rock. When we got to the water we swam down the river and then back up. We climbed up a super smooth slippery rock to get to a little hidden pool with a waterfall. It was by far the best of the two pools.
In Karijini the dirt was very red and the flies were horrible.
